The Rare Math Projects

Math projects are very rare. Most math teachers do not give out projects. However, for the ones that they do, they are not exactly a hassle to figure out. Math projects are equivalent to regular assignments.

Math & Word Search

These projects usually involve solving a math problem to get a letter. The student must place the letter in the box with the answer. The benefit of these is that the student will be able to figure out which questions are wrong. The phrase will usually be some sort of answer to the question on the page. Students will be more engaged with the assignment overall due to it's simplicity. Some of these projects might have spaces in the answer, some do not have spaces. The projects will usually show a glimpse of the topic and what it's all about. The questions are usually easy to compensate for the small writing space. Students usually breeze through most of the questions due to how easy it is. Regular assignments are usually many steps and will take longer to figure out. Overall, these types of projects usually help a student understand a topic.

Workbook Problems

When students get workbooks, teachers like to put them to good use. Some teachers use the workbooks as part of the curriculum, while other teachers use the workbooks as extra practice for upcoming tests or quizzes. These teachers usually assign certain problems for review related to the subject. Sometimes there could be a sparse amount of questions, but other times, they will put a lot of questions down on the board. These workbook problems are usually not for homework nor in-class assignments. To save time and space, teachers will provide a range instead of writing the numbers one by one, which saves a lot of time writing and doesn't waste too much board space. These workbook problems are helpful because sometimes the in-class assignments and the review packages may not be enough for a student to understand. Overall, students will get an advantage in tests and quizzes.
