What students learn in English
Most people think they know what students learn in English. However, they struggle to incorporate the basics of learning. English learning is much more involved than most people think it is.
Grammar
Grammar is the foundation of English. Without it, sentences do not make sense. Grammar is usually a hit or miss. Some students breeze through grammar like it's nothing, while other students get stuck occasionally. Grammar usually features parts of speech, sentence structure, passive and active voice, parallelism, punctuation usage, and much more. Grammar is what makes a sentence a sentence to begin with.
English Language Learning (ELL)
Sometimes, a student's English may not be up to standard. English Language Learning is meant to help students with rusty English communicate, write, and understand better English. All students are different, and English Language Learning is meant to help students with different English needs. For example, a student with almost fluent English may not need any help, while a student starting to learn English may need more help. English Language Learning is mostly required for some other classes like RAIL. Some other classes have different ELL standards. Some may require mostly fluent English, while other classes are more lenient on English requirements.
