Material in Social Studies
Social Studies can be overwhelming with material. Students usually take a long time trying to understand the material. However, some students can do most of the material in class with some time left over.
Charts
Students will fill in a chart based on certain information. Students will fill in the boxes based on what is in the rows and columns. Each square will be filled with what the student knows in that topic. The rows and columns will feature stuff related to the topic, like countries and battles in WWI &WWII, events and people in the Cold War, and wars and events in the 21st century. Students will get a grasp of what the topic will be about, and they will be able to figure out what each country is like.
Textbooks
Teachers usually give out textbooks for students to read. Teachers usually assign a certain range of pages to read. Teachers usually do this to allow students to review the information they were taught. Students can understand the information from the textbook if they didn't get it the first time. Textbooks are reliable because they are made by multiple people who can research different topics.
